A measured building survey is the deliverable you commission for refurbishment, retrofit, conservation, or change-of-use. We capture it using survey-grade laser scanning, the technology, and deliver it as the drawings and data you need: floor plans, elevations, sections, point clouds and 3D models.

We deploy the right capture method for the job: static terrestrial laser scanning (TLS) for high-accuracy stationary work, SLAM scanning for fast indoor mobile capture, airborne LiDAR for large outdoor areas, ground LiDAR for linear assets. The output is then processed into the measured drawings and point cloud you commissioned, hosted on AIM Projects for the whole team.

CAD drawings (DWG / DXF)
2D floor plans, elevations, sections and details delivered in your CAD software's native format. Layered, scaled, calibrated. Open in AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation or Vectorworks, no conversion step.

Revit / BIM models (RVT / IFC)
Native Revit or open IFC models built from the scan data. LOD 200 / 300 depending on the brief, parametric families where useful, fully ready to drop into your project's BIM workflow.

Full 3D model, validate every drawing against it
The whole-building 3D model is the master record. Every drawing, every dimension, every elevation gets validated against it. If a plan and the model disagree, the model wins. Browser-streamable on AIM Hosting, measurable in place.

Point clouds
The raw survey data, registered and cleaned. Delivered in E57, LAS, RCP or whatever your team's pipeline expects.

Topographical & site surveys
Drone and ground LiDAR for large outdoor areas. Vegetation penetration, accurate to centimetre-level grid.

Heritage and conservation surveys
Sub-millimetre TLS capture for listed structures, with the audit trail Historic England, the conservation officer and the structural engineer all expect.

Linear asset surveys
Mobile mapping for highways, rail corridors and pipelines. Captured at speed by ground LiDAR.
